These little mushroom shaped crackers dipped in chocolate are SO GOOD. I need to go back to Aldi tomorrow and buy them all before they’re gone!

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
* 1 cup flour
* 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/8 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup rolled oats
* 1/2 cup butter, softened
* 1/2 cup brown sugar
* 3/4 cup raspberry jam, seedless
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 8-inch square pan, set aside. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt with a wire whisk. Add rest of ingredients except jam. Stir until large crumbs form. Press 2 cups of mixture into prepared pan. Spread jam to 1/4 inch of pan sides. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Lightly press crumbs into jam. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until brown around edges. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Servings 16 to 25 depending on size of bars cut.

B got this picture for me last Sat. We went to JB’s dad’s house which is right near National Forest close to Helen. After walking around Helen and the weird biker crowd there, it was so nice to stomp around in the woods and see all the leaves changing.
This looks like it needs to be in a calendar or something, used as the November picture.

B took the picture of clover, it’s really pretty right? The funny thing about it is that she took it off the side of the road right by the Atlanta main Post Office – one tiny pan to either side would have shown garbage or maybe one of the guys begging for spare change. But that tiny frame came out nice, I wish the pictures of the poppies there had turned out since they’re always prettiest.
I put a link to her flickr account, she got some great pictures at the Panic! at the Disco show. Plus I wanted an excuse to write Panic! I love the exclamation point in there.

I’m sorry! I haven’t posted for a long time, it’s the spring rush at work and I’m so busy getting out all the mail for churches for Easter, that’s all that’s getting done. As you can see, I do have Easter/springtime stuff to spread around the house. I got the box down from the attic, that counts, right? Plus there isn’t any Christmas left in the house. I wish I had some cool spring flower pictures, but the golf cart got wrecked (thanks, Sean!) and I’m too lazy busy to go for a walk , so here’s a picture of my spring decoration stuff, waiting patiently on the back porch. I’ll post more soon, I need to replace the snow picture on the header anyway (although it DID snow last Saturday!)
